Why Does Blu Vivo 5 Look Exactly Like Gionee S6?

Phones do look alike but I’ve been looking at Blu Vivo 5 and Gionee S6 and can only deduce that one company copied the other. Apart from the fact that these phones look quite alike physically, the specifications too are so close you would think these companies are using the same product plan.

And you can see clearly that Blu Vivo 5 looks almost like it:

Is this pure coincidence or these guys are actually copying one another? The shape, build and everything looks quite alike. For the record, Gionee S6 was announced November 2015 and became available the same month. On the other hand, Blu Vivo 5 was announced January this year and it’s expected to go on sale this month.

It’s obvious Blu lifted Gionee’s design looking at the release dates. Again, looking at the Gionee S6’s design up close:
