I'm not sure Breadcrumb has any SEO benefit but a sure fact is that it gives your a higher click through rate in google search. You heard me right and I'm talking from practical experience. A blogger sent me a message this morning asking how I included that breadcrumbs in Google search and I had to come up with this post.
If you don't know what it means, breadcrumb trail is a navigation tool that allows a user to see where the current page is in relation to the Web site's hierarchy. At the top of this page, you should see this:

If you're on the free Blogger platform and wondering if you should move to WordPress or not, you might want to see all the features available before planning to get a hosting account. You can install WordPress locally on your computer and have full access to all the available features without even having a hosting account. Locally WordPress installation allows you to get used to WordPress dashboard, install themes and plugins and do everything you would do with a WordPress installation on a regular web host.
Alright, let's stop the talk and go straight to business. You'll need to download WampServer. This software is a Windows web development
Here we go again - another MobilePress tutorial to customize your WordPress mobile version. If you went through the post I made this morning, you should now have a better looking mobile version with colors that match your full version theme. Adding excerpt or post summary with thumbnails is a lot easier and you should be able to get it done in just a couple of minutes even if you're new to WordPress. There isn't much editing to do as I've simplified it totally. You're only editing the css file in this tutorial, the rest is nothing but a piece of cake. :D Okay, let's stop talking and get straight to business! Can you see the screenshot below? Your
MobilePress is a plugin that gives your WordPress blog a nice looking mobile version. If you got to this site using your computer, I suggest to take a second to see how it looks on your mobile phone before we proceed. I'm definitely sure you like it! It's fully customized to my taste and it mimics the full version in certain ways. Installing Mobilepress press gives you just a couple of themes to choose from and one thing I love is uniqueness. Including a styled feeedburner email subscription form along with social media buttons can go a long way in increasing the number of your feed subscribers. Apart from this, this widget can increase your facebook fans and twitter followers. I also included a Google+ button to make your blog readers add you to their circles easily.
Below is how the widget should look like after adding it below your posts:

The long awaited google plus badge has finally come but most bloggers and website owners are not even aware. Just like the facebook like box and twitter follow button, Google+ badge is just one of those widgets you must have on your blog to improve social interaction with your blog readers. If you've created a Google+ page for your blog, then you definitely need the "Follow" button and if you do not have a Google+ page ( like me :D ), a "Add to circles" button is available for you. I just added the badge to my sidebar and it's kind of cool.
If you've been using a badge from any third party service, I think it's time to dump it and get the real
One thing I never liked is my blog looking just like another site. Using a unique theme gives your blog some sort of identity and even when I was on Blogger, I always tweaked those free custom template to my taste. With lots of free WordPress themes everywhere, you might not really need to buy a premium theme before your blog looks good. There's a lot of talk about Thesis being one of the best WordPress theme framework but it's definitely not for free. Before settling for this theme I'm currently using, I've installed lots of themes but never got satisfied. I almost bought Thesis theme till I came across two free alternatives that are almost equally
