The first time I download some split files with .001,.002 and .003 extensions, I was confused about what to do with them. I first thought they were split archives and renamed them to .rar but I got nothing but error extracting the content. I googled out solutions but none made sense till I ran across a software that solved the issue. I was able to join the split files (not archive). Now, I have to explain this: .001 and .002 can either be whole files split into parts or split archives. You're going to deal with them differently in each cases and there are two solutions I found.

You should first try out this
If your friends or siblings use you computer a great deal, you may have a coupe of files you wish to keep from their view. These may range from documents, movies and other personal stuffs. I wrote a post on how to hide your folders and files on Windows XP using a batch file but this doesn't work on Windows Vista and Windows 7. Most of the software available to do this on Windows 7 are not freewares but I came up with a couple of softwares that can lock and hide your folders for free. Need to make those folders private? There are lots of people complaining that they have one or two problems with their notebook due to hibernation and that makes one wonder if hibernation actually damages a computer. As a matter of fact, I hate shutting down my laptop because of the time taken to start up and the time taken to restore my browser tabs which may be up to fifteen at times. Hibernating your computer is a very good way to save your work but people often try to convince me that it's going to damage my motherboard eventually. Is there any truth to this? Is it a practice one should avoid?
First, let me try to tell you what happens when your system goes into hibernation.
While most people know this, a great deal of Windows users do not know that the ReadyBoost feature in Windows can make you utilize your flash drive as randon access memory (RAM) to speed up your computer. ReadyBoost allows you to use a USB drive to help cache memory. This helps improve the amount of physical memory available and increases the productivity of the hard drive installed in a system. For those with low RAM installed on their computer, ReadyBoost can make a big difference in some situations in how it performs. When I need to run programs that takes lots of system resources, ReadyBoost comes in handy.
How to Use ReadyBoost to Make
Microsoft finally released the consumer preview of the much anticipated Windows 8. While some consider it a great OS which has a great user interface, others criticize it as another failure just like Windows Vista. Of course, the OS is still very much in a beta stage and there are bound to be bugs here and there, it seems the consumer preview isn't what techies expected it to be. A great deal of those who used it had one or two negative things to say about it.
Windows 8 had some nice features which is quite an improvement to Windos, I must say. With a touch device, you'll definitely love Windows 8 as you can touch and swipe easily. It's even
When you install Windows 7 OS with US regional settings, there are a couple of themes hidden from your view. With a US Windows 7 installation, four regional themes are actually hidden by default. These themes are so hidden that you won't even see them if you manually navigate to the folder in which they're located.
There are different hidden themes for Canada, UK, South Africa and Canada. The Trick is to navigate to C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT where all the themes are located.
However, you won't even be able to see these themes if you navigate directly to the folder.
How Do I Unlock These Hidden Themes?
- Go to My Computer
