I've always wanted to backup all the sites on my cPanel to the cloud just in case something unexpected happens but it was almost impossible because of the huge size. This blog, along with my web forum and other sites hosted on my account is almost 6GB and I know I won't be able to download that considering my "narrowband" internet connection and the cost of internet down here. The other day I ran some weird google search and saw something that looked rather scary - my sub domain which actually poited to my addon domain was indexed on Google search. Let me make this clear, doncaprio.com is an addon domain on 9jaclub.com. As you know, an addon domain is a subdomain using a custom domain name. My hosting account is registered with 9jaclub.com and this is the main cPanel domain. First off, I withdraw every recommendation to Hostgator if I ever gave you one. If you register with them, you're definitely on your own. I haven't been able to come up with any post for about 5 days now because the "Gator" decided to give my butt a deep bite. :D It's not a cool animal to play with, trust me. They claim they eat up competition but don't be fooled, they may decide to give you a bite too like they did to me after a year of being a loyal customer and even recommending them to people. I picked up my phone that night to check my blog if things were alright and also to do a little moderation on the forum but I couldn't access both sites. I kept trying for about five more minutes and concluded it must be a problem  with Hostgator or something. I went to sleep, hoping things would be fine by the following morning. I woke up to check both sites again to see if the "Hostgator problem" had been rectified but to my surprise, both my blog and forum were timing out on Opera Mini. I fired up my notebook and fortunately, everything looked okay. I could access both sites without any problems on Mozilla Firefox. I realized I wasn't getting any email and thought maybe the mails weren't just coming in. I was sure my MX records were correctly set but when it was getting longer than expected, I sent a mail to my Google Apps email from another Yahoo! Mail and go this error: Technical details of temporary failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error.
