Too Many Notifications on Google+? Here’ s how to Block them

I rarely use Google Plus before but these days, I do log in with tons of notifications waiting. These notifications, in most cases, are not even to posts I'm subscribed to. They're mostly posts shared with me by "friends." Some fellow bloggers on Google+ have this annoying habit of sharing almost every post on their blog with you, giving you notifications for each update on their blog. Getting 10 notifications from a person in one day just because he shared 10 posts on Google+ can be really annoying and even if you remove such people from your circle, they'll still be able to share posts with you so far your profile is a public one. Merging Google+ with Google Analytics

Over the past few weeks Google has been rolling out an update which allows you to merge Google Analytics with your Google+ account. This is something that will be welcomed by everyone. The new features and old ones can be really beneficial for gauging the progress of campaigns if used in the correct manner. Displaying Blog Author’s Google+ Profile Pic in Search Results

When if this feature was first rolled out, only a selected number of verified blog authors had their google plus profile linked to their blog posts on google search result page. I would run a google search back then, see these author's profile pic right beside their blog post and wonder if I would have mine too displayed someday, lol. ;) Well, I did what I was supposed to do, waited patiently and finally got my authorship verified. Now you can now see my google plus profile pic right beside my blog posts on google search results. How To Use Text Effects (bold, italics) In Google Plus Posts

Unlike facebook that requires certain applications to update your status with text efffects, google plus allows you to do this without any third party application. Google plus allows you to post updates with text effects such as bod, italics, strikethrough and so on. I logged in to google plus last week and saw someone in my circle with this wierd looking post and that got me curious till I asked him how he did it.
