Easiest Way to Root Samsung Android Phones Without a PC

framaroot

Just today, I decided to restore my Samsung Galaxy SII to factory settings and start all over. Lots of things went wrong with the phone and I thought wiping the thing should be the perfect solution. I did and lost root access. I initially rooted the phone by flashing a rooted stock firmware with ODIN. I decided to try another method out and by far, it's the simplest way to root most Samsung Android phones with unlocked bootloader. According to the developer, this method works on not just Samsung Galaxy S2 but lots o other phones as well. As a matter of fact, even if it's not gonna work for you, there's no harm in trying it out. Must Read: 10 Must-have Apps for your New Android Device I … [Read more...]

Unlock iPhone 3GS / iPhone 4 on iOS 6.1.2 Without Wi-Fi

unlock iPhone 3GS iPhone 4

After several attempts to get to use my iPhone again after updating to iOS 6.1.2, I was finally able to activate the phone. Of course, if you rely on hacktivation to use your iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4, Evasi0n won't be of help since it doesn't jailbreak locked and unactivated phones. The only way is to create a custom firmware through Sn0wbreeze which jailbreaks and hacktivates the phone though it's still going to be locked and won't be useable on any network till you unlock. There's a detailed guide on using Snowbreeze which you should read. Please know that this is only tested on iPhone 3GS (iOS 6.1.2, baseband 06.15.00, old bootrom) and iPhone 4 (iOS 6.0.1, baseband 01.59.00). Apart from … [Read more...]

restore custom firmare with iTunes

Evasi0n is a groundbreaking jailbreak tool but unfortunately, there's a little setback for people who rely on hacktivation to use their iPhones. If your iPhone isn't activated with the original carrier SIM, you won't be able to jailbreak with Evasi0n. For about 4 months now, Redsn0w hasn't been updated but thankfully, the latest Sn0wbreze update takes care of this and even if you're on iOS 6.1.2, you can jailbreak and activate your phone by restoring a cooked / custom IPSW. Please note that this only works for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. If you have an iPhone 4s or iPhone 5, this won't work for you. Sn0wbreeze is basically for A4 devices. The created custom firmware jailbreaks and … [Read more...]

error 1600 fix

My iPhone was useless for almost two days before I finally fixed this error and got my phone working again. I was trying to restore a custom iOS 6.1.2 firmware created with Sn0wbreeze but couldn't do it because iTunes kept throwing up all sort of error messages. evasi0n 1.5 jailbreak iOS 6.1.2

A while ago, I posted an article on iOS 6.1 jailbreak on iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, iPhone 4 and 3GS. This tool also applies to iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad mini, iPod touch 4, iPod touch 5. Evasi0n has been upgraded to fully jailbreak iOS 6.1.2 which apple released last week to fix some bugs which includes increased network activity leading to a shorter battery life.
