I actually saw this on our web forum over a month ago and I've been using it ever since. Proximitron works with Glo Nigeria totally free with the glosecure access point. The previous post I made on using Your Freedom client software with glo still works but I decided to share this with you as well. There's no special configuration needed, you only need to download the privoxy below. It comes with customized settings so you won't need to do anything at all. It's no longer news that glo now browses free but unfortunately, not all sim cards are capable of doing this. If glosecure access point is not activated on your line, you probably won't be able to enjoy this freebie. If you've never browsed with your glo sim card before or glosecure access point doesn't connect, send something like Nokia N73 to 1234 in a text message. You should receive the settings. If not, call customer care line on 121 to speak with an agent and tell them you want your sim card provisioned because you've never browsed with it before. I've been using this tweak for almost a month now and it's definitely not new but I think posting it here would definitely be helpful if you haven't been using it. As with all free browsing tricks, there's a possibility that it may stop working soon and if you got here via google and the settings below ain't no longer working, I suggest you check our web forum for updates. It really sucks when I say it sucks; I can't understand the 'special treatment' these Nigerian network providers give to Blackberry users. I don't use a blackberry phone, that means I get to pay so high for some silly data bundle that won't last a day. Last time I checked, you can get just 100MB of data for 1000 Naira on Airtel while you get a whooping 1GB for just 1,500 Naira on this same stupid network. Wait a minute, are they trying to make everybody buy a blackberry phone or what?
