With most people choosing mobile responsive themes these days, I was also using it till recently when I decided to mobilize my blog using MobilePress instead. It's cool having a mobile responsive design but then, it was like there's no way users can actually see the full version on mobile phones and tablets and that's one thing I don't really like about responsive designs. Some users actually prefer seeing the desktop version on their mobile device and this is what prompted me to remove the responsive design from the theme. When Apple decided to drop support for it's older devices, millions of users who still have the iPhone 3G, 2G, iPod Touch 1G and 2G felt it was rather unfair. Imagine holding an iPhone 3G and you can't even use the official Facebook app on the phone; you're left to just make and receive calls, send text messages and do basic some basic things. These days, it's like almost everyone is on WhatsApp but if you use an Apple device lower than iPhone 3GS, you won't be able to use this and lots of other apps you normally should have on a smartphone. On a post I wrote earlier about removing location from Facebook status updates, a number people inquired on how to do this on Facebook for Android app since the guide given in that article doesn't apply to the mobile app. This can be done easily by turning off GPS service on the phone completely but not everyone wants to do this. This stops other applications requiring GPS to function from working properly. Weather, Maps and other applications are few out of the many apps requiring GPS to work. A while ago, I made a post on how to fix missing song info including album art and make your iTunes library look much better. The procedure given in the post still works but then, you need to purchase TuneUp Media to actually do this. How to Disable Long SMS to MMS Conversion on Android

The first time I tried sending a long SMS on my Android device, it got converted to a multimedia message (MMS) and the recipient didn't even get the message because it wasn't a multimedia phone. On most Android devices, when your SMS exceeds three pages, it automatically gets converted to MMS. I tried checking the message settings maybe this is something that could be adjusted but there was absolutely nothing there to change this.
