Just like other timeline users, I’ve noticed the absence of my wall post and comments from my recent activities. Lots of people are worried over this thinking they’ve done some settings which made the comments and wall posts remain hidden from their profile but this is not so based on my findings. You’ve tried to make the the wall posts and comment show on your timeline without success, right? I tried to looking in to this and concluded there can only be two explanations:
1. Facebook intentionally removed recent comments and wall posts from showing on timeline recent activities
2. It’s a bug Facebook is not aware of or trying to fix
Though recent wall posts and comments do not show up on timeline, it still does when you view your profile using the old profile layout. I checked my profile using the old profile layout and later switched back to timeline to confirm this. Check the screenshots below to see exactly what I’m trying to explain:

You should note that I took captured this screenshots right about the same time. It’s now unclear whether this is a bug on timeline or facebook intentionally hid these activities.
To verify this, switch back to the old profile layout using the guidelines on this post to see if the recent wall posts and comments are visible or not. Using the old profile, you can as well control the recent activities showing on your timeline as explained on this post. Whatever you hide using the old profile layout is also hidden on timeline and whatever shown on the old profile layout also should appear on timeline but this is not so with recent wall posts and comment which remain hidden.
There’s actually no way to make your recent wall posts and comments display on your timeline presently, that is up to facebook to fix. It’s their problem, not yours. By the way, I’m not sure I need to display every comment and wall posts I make appear on my wall for stalkers to see so I care less if it doesn’t show. 
Thanks you SO much! I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to find the setting for viewing my recent stuff. I still have IE6 on my machine and I checked my profile there and the recent likes/comments were present. Good to know it wasn’t just me.
It’s a general thing, Jennny.
After I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I get 4 emails with the same comment. There has to be an easy method you are able to remove me from that service? Appreciate it!

O HAI I COMMENTED WITH FRIENDS PRIVACY BUT WHY CAN FRIENDS SEE MY COMMENT
