Google Adsense for mobile is now avaailable in Nigeria and fourteen other countries according to google adsense official blog yesterday. These countries include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Slovenia, Thailand, and Turkey.
In case you are new to google adsense for mobile, this more or less like adsense for content. Google displays ads relevant to site’s content but in this case, mobile sites. You earn some money when a valid click is made on the displayed advert.
Google adsense for mobile will definitely be useful especially if you’ve read my previous post on how to make money online with your mobile phone. Adsense for mobile automatically detects phone type and delivers ads specific to that particular type of phone.
Google, however, stipulates that adsense for mobile may be used on mobile websites only and not in mobile applications. Application developers are expected to use Google Admob (which google acquired last year). Admob is also a mobile advertisement platform which I’ve been using on my mobile site for close to two years.
