Freegate, A product of Dynaweb International Technology,Inc., is a free software that circumvents internet censorship and bypasses firewall through it’s secure tunnels. Freegate is really popular for what it does as it also hides your IP address too. It works with or without proxy and you can easily switch between servers once connected. It works well with almost any browser and IM applications as it processes HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS requests.
Once connected, Freegate automatically starts Internet Explorer but you can use other browsers too. All you need to do is set your applications to process requests through localhost:8580. Freegate needs no installation, it’s a portable exectable file. You might read the FAQs here.

Yahoo messenger 10 works better with freegate. All you need to do is enter localhost:8580 for http in Y! messenger proxy settings. I'm sure socks will work too.
well.yahoo messenger10 instals on ma pc,buh doesnt run.kips givn me errors.so is dere no way i cud use ma ym8 wif freegate???
Hopster should do it. Run freegate, configure hopster with localhost:8580 and check yahoo messenger in hopster settings. Messenger will definitely connect. I've used it with messenger 9.
i ve dne exactly what u said,but hopster doesnt send or receive data.no speed.nothing nothing.pls what do i do???
Hey…u need to upgrade man. I'm usin msgr 9 with ultrasurf via hopster as posted here though u need to force it to connect at times.
